Tracy A. Cowles MD

Dr. Cowles attended Wichita State University in Wichita, Kansas for her undergraduate work, and received her medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine. After her residency, which was also at the University of Kansas School of Medicine, she became a Fellow at the University of Texas Medical School in Houston Texas in both Maternal/Fetal Medicine and Medical Genetics. Dr. Cowles was awarded the Outstanding Junior Resident in 1986 and the Outstanding Senior Resident in 1987. She was also the recipient of the Society of Perinatal Obstetricians Foundation Fellowship Award in 1992.

Dr. Cowles is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology in both Obstetrics and Gynecology and Maternal-Fetal Medicine. She is also certified by the American Board of Medical Genetics. Dr. Cowles is a member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, the American Medical Association, the Society of Perinatal Obstetricians, the American Society of Human Genetics and is on the medical board for the Planned Parenthood organization.

Outside of the office, Dr. Cowles enjoys reading, exercising, doing crossword puzzles and spending time with her family. She is married to Ky and they have two daughters.
